    Assured by the Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH), the Suicide First Aid Lite - Awareness of Suicide Prevention course equips delegates with the confidence and practical skills to recognise and respond to suicide risk. 

    Delivered by the National Centre for Suicide Prevention, Education & Training, the session includes group discussions, interactive exercises, breakout rooms, skills practice and video-based learning.

    Q2. Is prior experience necessary to attend this course? 
    No, the course is welcome to delegates with no prior experience or qualifications. It’s designed to support delegates at all levels.

    Q3. How long is the course, and what can I expect? 
    The course runs for half a day across two sessions, exploring key topics such as beliefs about suicide, risk factors, warning signs, how to discuss suicide appropriately, plus more. The training includes group discussions, practical exercises, breakout rooms, video content and skills practice.

    The course is delivered remotely in a virtual classroom via Microsoft Teams. Please ensure Microsoft Teams is downloaded and working correctly before your course start date.
