    Delegates must be at least 18 years old, in good health, and able to participate in practical exercises. A good understanding of written and spoken English is also required, for additional support, see Q14.

    How the Training Works 

    Q7. Is this course classroom-based or practical? 
    Training is delivered through classroom-based theory alongside practical exercises in slinging and operating pendant or remote-controlled cranes in a controlled environment.

    Q8. What should I bring on the day?
    PPE: Delegates must wear comfortable workwear, safety boots, hi-vis vest/jacket, hard-hat (preferably with a chin strap), protective gloves, eye protection, safety footwear, long-sleeve top and trousers (shorts are not permitted). Weather-appropriate clothing may be required for outdoor sessions.

    Successful delegates receive a training certificate valid for 3 years, after which refresher training is recommended.
