    The practical sessions cover CCTV, IP cameras, dome cameras, access control systems, and alarms, gaining practical experience in setting up, configuring and troubleshooting these devices. The sessions also cover key networking skills, including TCP/IP and UDP, subnet masking, firewalls, wired and wireless connections, bandwidth calculation, compression, quality of service and network management.

    Q8. What equipment or materials do I need to bring? 
    Your training course may take place on a live site or involve practical activities. For your safety and to comply with site regulations, it's essential to wear appropriate clothing and PPE, including safety boots, a hard hat (preferably with a chin strap), a hi-vis vest or jacket, long sleeves and trousers (shorts are not permitted) as a minimum. Please do not attend without the required PPE. If you need assistance arranging PPE or are unsure about any requirements, please call 0345 605 0006.
