    This hands-on training course is ideal for installation companies or individuals looking to enhance their skills and deepen their understanding of addressable fire alarm systems. Delivered in line with best-practice techniques and BS5839 Part 1, the course offers practical experience and expert guidance throughout. 

    Typical delegates include fire system engineers and supervisors who want to improve their knowledge of integrating fire alarms with other systems such as access control and fire shutters. We also welcome those already working in other areas of technology who are looking to expand their skillset by moving into fire alarm installation. 

    Training is delivered using real systems, allowing you to apply what you learn in a practical setting. With support from experienced trainers, the course aims to equip delegates to gain relevant, useful knowledge that can be applied immediately in the field. 

    Upon successful completion, you’ll earn a BTEC Level 3 Certificate, an internationally recognised qualification that demonstrates your expertise. This course also contributes towards your application for the Certified Technical Security Professional Register.

    Delegates must wear appropriate clothing and PPE, including safety boots, a hard hat (preferably with a chin strap), a hi-vis vest or jacket, eye protection, protective gloves, long sleeves and trousers (shorts are not permitted).
